According to the information we had she had a funeral plan and life insurance for her son, which she opened at Standard bank (branch name Brits) from 2003, she was paying R200 every month, hundred for the life insurance and other hundred for the funeral plan. The time she passed on at Standard bank told us that she had no funeral plan with you. And we called the Charter branch at Cape Town and we spoke with Nthabiseng , she told us that the is no such, she told us to send the copy of a death certificate of the deceased and we did, she said she will call us again regarding the payment. She never called us again when we try to call the numbers it was on voice mail always. And Liberty is busy updating me with current balance but am not satisfied with it because it has been so long the money being invested, so I want to know that where was the other money going to all along.

Charter Life just started deducting money from my bank account. Their consultants called me a few times, but I kept on telling them that I wasn’t interested. I find this totally unproffessional. Another lady called me this morning for another policy, I told her I wasn’t interested, but she just kept on babbling. If I wanted a funeral policy I would contact my choice of institution, I would like my money back, and I do not want to be contacted whenever you feel like it. We all have jobs, I do not have the time to chit chat about policies during office hours. Just take NO for a answer….cancel this policy and pay back my money. I am so frustrated with this!!!
