Life Cover
Depending on individual requirements, Resolution Life provides Life Cover either for the lifetime of the Main Life Assured or for a specified period of time.

Accidental Death Cover

In the event of the accidental death of the Main Life Assured, the Resolution Life Cover pays a lump sum amount of up to R500 000 provided the claim event occurs in the period preceding Resolution Life’s written acceptance or rejection of application for Life Cover.

Terminal Illness Cover

In the event that the Main Life Assured is diagnosed with a critical illness as defined in the policy document, the acceleration of the life cover is initiated and the Main Life Assured may elect to receive 90% of the sum assured.

Capital Disability Cover

The Capital Disability Benefit is made available to the Main Life Assured in the event of an illness or bodily injury resulting in permanent occupational disability. For purposes of this type of cover, the following definitions are applied:

Own Occupation Disability

This refers to instances where the Main Life Assured suffers an illness or injury which completely and permanently renders him unable to perform the functions of his occupation.

Own or reasonably suited Occupation Disability

This refers to instances where the Main Life Assured suffers an illness or injury which completely and permanently renders him unable to perform the functions of his own or reasonably suitable line of occupation. In reaching this determination, Resolution Life will take into account the experience, skills and training of the Main Life Assured.

Debility Cover

Debility Cover applies to situations where the Main Life Assured has suffered total and permanent loss of use limbs or eyesight and any other debility.

Critical Illness Core Cover

Resolution Life Insurance understands the enormous financial impact and emotional stress which follows the diagnosis of a critical illness. As such, the Resolution Life Critical Illness Cover is designed to alleviate the financial stress by providing a lump sum payment following the diagnosis of a critical illness such as cancer, stroke or heart attack. It is a pre-condition of this benefit that the Main Life Assured must survive for a period of 14 days without the use of life support after the diagnosis.

Income Protection Core Cover

In the event that the Main Life Assured becomes disabled and is rendered occupationally unable to generate a monthly income, Resolution Life offers the Income Protection Cover. This Benefit offers a recurring monthly payment which continues until the Main Life Assured recovers from the disability dies or reaches the age of 60 years.

Group Funeral Cover

This benefit pays a lump sum amount to the immediate family of the deceased. This benefit is designed to alleviate the financial strain which follows such a traumatic event. The Resolution Life funeral benefit is particularly ideal for clubs, unions, organisations and corporates.

Functional and Physical Impairment Benefit

In the event that the Main Life Assured succumbs to a serious functional or physical impairment that will have a permanent impact on the lifestyle of the Main Life Assured, this benefit pays a lump sum equal to a percentage of the sum assured.

He the little scammer asked me how long I’ve been with MTN and that I can receive R50,00 airtime for only R39,00 per and indeed to pay R9.99 for if I can’t pay my monthly subscription, he also told me about funeral cover and I told no I still have to think about that so I didn’t agree to it but no you are debiting money R118,00 where is my air time? Resolution life you are scammers!!! If you don’t cancel this evil act that have started on my accont all hell will will break lose. For your own info i am unemployed so there is no day where you gonna find my account flooding with millions I even contacted the person who helps me with what I have now on my account to stop deposing money .     The reason why this Company has to scam people out of their money is because they have absolutely nothing to offer.
    I cancelled my policy and the debit order with them 2 months ago but they still go ahead and debit my account. So every month I have to go to the bank and put a stop order on my account. But every month the amount changes because now they are trying to get all the “outstanding” money out of me. I would be interested to know how you treat those people that actually have a legitimate claim if this is how you treat those that are paying for it!

    I regret the day I answered a call from elite mobile, this was on 15 May 2014. My application with them for airtime contract product was declined, but guess what, 7 months down the line debit orders by ResoLife and Viva Life have continuously been going off my bank account even after numerous cancellation of these. Day light robbers. They go to an extend of saying they called me after I cancelled, and I had now agreed for them to debit my account. I say since you forever remind us that calls are recorded, pull out that recording where you called, it never comes. What kind of a company are you? Robbing people of their hard earned monies?     Now with me you are going to have it hard.first i don’t have an agreement with you and have been deducting for the past two months.When I cancel i get charged R50,meaning I loose .now this is how we are going to roll:I am going to insurance ombudsman(attaching all complaints from the above link),For every cent you deduct on my account,I will invest same amount in a different account.

    I received the following sms from the following number regarding the debit order for RL100365103 on the Wednesday the 1st of July 2016 at 08:13

    The number +27 8200725112xxxx

    “Martin Muller; Your debit order for RL100365103 has been returned. Kindly contact us on 086154xxxx to make payment arrangements. Resolution Life Limited.”

    I have called the number in the sms 3 times without answer. Now I am sending an email to arrange the payment details. Since you already know my banking details and are able to debit the account, I am sure that it is entirely to deposit the money owed back into that same account from which the debit order was debited.

    I will not pass the details over an email and will expect that the proof of payment be sent to this email from which I am sending my correspondence.

    Trying to get a policy document from a consultant is an utter nightmare. They are rude and unprofessional and when I asked them to confirm my e-mail address the phone is slammed in my ear………I wonder what my poor family would have to deal with if they ever needed this policy to pay out. CANCEL it immediately!!!
